Boreal Shield

The Boreal Shield ecozone is geographically the largest ecozone in Canada. It covers portions of Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Newfoundland and Labrador. It is north of the Mixedwood Plains ecozone and directly underneath the Hudson Plains and Taiga Shield ecozones.
